About Ryan Dawkins

.

Since 2002, Ryan Dawkins has been a driving force in transforming the landscape of experiential endurance events. At just 25 years old, while still a graduate student, he founded Project Sport — a bold venture that quickly became a trailblazer in event production, management, and marketing. Under his leadership, the company became an industry leader, redefining endurance sports.

In 2012, Dawkins made waves when Project Sport sold the iconic US Half Marathon, featuring a Half Marathon across the Golden Gate Bridge, to Competitor Group/IRONMAN, which evolved into the Rock ‘n’ Roll San Francisco. Just two years later, Project Sport was acquired by New York’s Bregal Partners, with Dawkins at the helm of seamlessly integrating the company into their endurance division.

An accomplished competitive athlete, Dawkins has pushed his limits as a collegiate swimmer, an 11-time IRONMAN finisher, and a key member of the 2nd place, 4-man cycling team in the grueling Race Across America—covering over 3,000 miles from San Diego to Atlantic City in just 6 days and 6 hours.

Ryan lives life to the fullest in Lafayette, California, alongside his wife Clare and their three daughters.
